This year, RGD will present $22,000 in cash awards in all areas of communication design to student work selected by a panel of industry experts. I was honoured to be asked to judge the Social Good category for this year's contest, along with 3 other judges from agencies in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver.

The entries have just been compiled and ready for review. In total 94 entries were submitted and after checking them out, I am honestly floored at the quality of work displayed. There's a wide range of clever ideas being expressed and in beautiful and impactful ways. I think picking winners is going to be quite the challenge!

The power of design to change the hearts and minds of people is a key piece in moving our world forward. It's encouraging and inspiring to see so many young talented people in Canada interested in using the power of their minds and their hearts towards planting seeds of goodness through their work.
